Case Study Officer

Reporting to the First Nations Project Manager from Conservation Futures, the Case Study Officer will be responsible for working with Djungan knowledge holders to locate and process knowledge on Djungan lands that will help inform decision making as directed by NNTAC Board of Directors and Djungan elders.

The Case Study Officer will be responsible for uploading approved cultural knowledge, information or data into the Conservation Futureโ€™s Integrated Knowledge System. This knowledge may be in multiple forms including published journal articles, spreadsheets, videos, live interviews, or on ground assessment of cultural and ecological values.

The Case Study Officer shall have:

ยท          Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with knowledge holders and stakeholders, including demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships with a diverse range of people in complex, rural or remote environments.

ยท         Computer literate with Microsoft Office, email etc. GIS software, statistical software and other basic software packages would be advantageous.

This is a part time position requiring commitment of 2-3 days / week for up to 6 months.
