    This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified Position, classified under ‘special measures’ of section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.

    This position is an identified position in which the duties involve extensive engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, Traditional Owners, Indigenous communities, or their representatives.

    Please be advised for safety reasons that any Traditional Owner wishing to access Kondaparinga Station or any Native Title Determined Area need to notify NNTAC prior to travel. Phone: 0499 781 755

    Before travelling, you must contact the Djungan Ranger Coordinator and provide the following information:

    Required Information

    Date and time of travel

    Destination and specific locations to be accessed

    Expected duration of visit

    Confirmation of communications equipment (e.g. satellite phone, two-way radio)

    Safety equipment carried (first aid kit, snake bite kit)

    Wet Season Requirements
    During the wet season, you must also advise:

    Type of vehicle being used (e.g. 4WD, quad bike, buggy)

    Amount of fuel carried

    Any relevant medical conditions

    This information is essential to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
    If NNTAC is not informed of your travel, we will not be aware of your presence in the event of an emergency.
