Office Project Coordinator – Cairns Fulltime Position

Nguddaboolgan Native Title Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NNTAC) is the Prescribed Body Corporate for the Djungan People. NNTAC holds the native title rights and interests as agent for the Djungan People as determined by the Federal Court of Australia on 2 August 2012.

The Project Coordinator’s role is a senior role within NNTAC and will involve implementing the capacity development project for NNTAC with the assistance of the North Queensland Land Council (NQLC) and coordinating the day-to-day compliance, administration and development of NNTAC including oversite of the ranger program and proposed IPA through the coordinators.

Applicants must be achievement oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

Applicants will need to demonstrate a sensitivity and understanding of current Indigenous issues and aspirations and be able to effectively communicate with Indigenous Australians.

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons are particularly encouraged to apply.

The position is a full-time contract until 31 December 2024, with possible extension subject to funding.
