In line with Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) for Kondaparinga Station and access provisions, Djungan People willing to access Kondaparinga are required to submit an Access Notice to NNTAC.

1. Native Title Access Notice

1.1 An Access Notice must be provided by the Djungan People to NNTAC prior to entering the property two (2) business days prior to the request, unless otherwise agreed.

1.2 Access Notice maybe provided by telephone (07 3199 8291) or in writing (see above) and include:
(a) the proposed dates of entry and proposed departure;
(b) details of the number of Djungan People who will access the Station on the proposed dates;
(c) the general nature of the activities that Djungan People intend to undertake noting that the activities do not need to be deemed as traditional activities; and
(d) details of where on the Station they intend to go.

1.3 NNTAC’s grant of any access to the Station to Djungan People is done so on the basis:
(a) that no liability passes to NNTAC;
(b) it is not for the purpose to conduct commercial activities;
(c) it is not for the purpose to slaughter or shoot cattle and no guns are permitted;
(d) that Djungan People waive their liability upon access;
(e) they do not access or damage existing infrastructure;
(f) they report any damage they should find or are responsible for; and
(g) that Djungan People adhere to the information provided regarding potential dangers and hazards on the Station.

2. NNTAC’s Response

2.1 Within two (2) business days of receiving the Access Notice, unless as otherwise agreed, NNTAC will provide reasonable notice to the person applying for access, granting or denying access and advising of any conditions or exclusions reasonably required for the proposed access. The person applying for the access and any people travelling with them or otherwise gaining access under the Access Notice are bound by those conditions or exclusions.

2.2 NNTAC will not reasonably deny access unless it is warranted based on occupational health and safety concerns such as:
(a) mustering;
(b) burning;
(c)chemical use and baiting; or
(d) other reasonable pastoral activities that may cause occupational health and safety concerns to Djungan People.
