Recruiting for Ranger Coordinator
The Opportunity:
The Ranger Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the management of the Native Title Land's and the ranger program. They will work closely with Indigenous communities, stakeholders, and governing bodies to ensure the effective implementation of conservation, land management, and cultural heritage protection initiatives. The Ranger Coordinator will lead a team of rangers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the successful execution of on-ground activities while fostering community engagement and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination:
• Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures for the ranger program in alignment with the goals and aspirations of the Native Title Land community.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, to ensure efficient program delivery.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of rangers, providing guidance, training, and capacity building opportunities to empower Indigenous community members in their roles.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
